You can play him as an inside forward. I guess it depends on personal opinion, formation, and tactics whether you consider that "upfront" or not. He can probably play anywhere across the line if needed but he is best as a winger. But the kind that will drift to the middle without the ball and tends to cut inside on the dribble as opposed to the kind that flies down the wing and puts in crosses. Also, I've really been boning up on this guy today. After reviewing extensive internet material, I can add that his nickname is "Moi" and his dad may or may not own a pizza shop. This is why clubs should never skimp on scouting. You need a guy like me with at least an 8 Determination to dig this stuff up and give you that extra edge in negotiations.
Ok. I'm trying to work out who plays in the 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 we will inevitably end up in. Because Gabbiadini and Austin was what we thought would work last year, and...yeah. Even though I want to give Carrillo a chance, we don't know if that will work. And Long doesn't really count any more. I want someone else, but if Moi can do it Mané style, then I would like that a lot.

Not against that at all, but it sounds like we still have our eye on another attacker, and with Elyounoussi/Gabbiadini/another quick and skillful sort, we could be pretty dangerous at a much higher tempo than has been our wont in recent years.
I presume Boufal is out, but would imagine Redmond is still likely to feature a fair bit. Or Shaqiri...?
Think Redmond may shift into a spot off the bench a lot of the time, which frankly is where he's been better anyway.
