Was the banner there on Saturday? Pretty sure it wasn't in its normal place at the top of E3.

Atmosphere was miles better too, amazing what entertaining football can do isn't it!

Yes. It was lower down, I think it was above the wheelchair area.

    Correct.

Atmosphere a lot better on Saturday, despite the drop in numbers. Hope we can get a decent crowd along with some commendable noise against Pompey next month <ok>

It was lot better? Couldn't here a thing, given up hope of having anything decent at home this year. Away games will be the usual good atmosphere all the true supports gather together!

Why the **** do you want to be like foreign supporters or even Palace? who embarrass themselves every week with their fake fanatical support. Some soppy **** with a massive colourful flag and a load of divs bouncing up and down makes you a laughing stock, not an impressive spectacle, you'll be doing the Poznan next<doh>

I sort of agree. These ultras stole all their ideas off fanatical English fans in the first place. You don't need a drum or silly wordless songs or that communist 'we love you' **** that St Pauli sing and minnows mimic; you just need a section full of fans who'll sing for 90 minutes and maybe make some flags/banners, which there is nothing un-English about. Palace fans make me feel embarrassed for the state of English football supporters. I hope Hull don't go the same way. <ok>

If Hull got this going in any sort of numbers we wouldn't be anything like Palace, we all know Palace are one of the softest set of fans in the country.

Ringo, as far as I know, the name's just a play on words with our name and noisy support. As far as I can tell there is no 'group' just a name and a concept. Part of the issue was the previous regime tried to socially engineer the crowd, so the Club and some fans are trying to repair some of the damage.

I agree about mimicing fans and also that the Palace affair is plastic and cringeworthy. we don't want to make the same mistake as TWS nuggets down the M62 when they tried getting an Ultras group going because of their woeful home support, but it failed, so they stick to some song from an old Club that used to play in Leeds and some laughable ****e about Europe.

I don't mind the flag. Adds a bit of colour to the ground, better than looking at a Cash Converters sign or Neil Hudgel advertisement hoarding.

However, i agree with the Millwall fan and Leeds18 those songs are ****e and one step closer to some tool bringing a drum into the ground and tedious goal music being played over the tannoy.

The Poznan dance is the final straw for me.

I don't see anyone disputing they're ****e, then again I haven't heard it sung by City fans nor seen one with a drum and AP is of the same view of goal music.

There's a danger of chinese whispers turning a flag into something it's not. I'm only going by what I've read, but it's just a spark not a club.
