Sticking to what he knows. Marko plus one and a right back. Get those in before heading off to Cornwall and we'll be as prepared as we could be. Don't think Fulham have made a signing yet despite all their talk.
I nearly put in my post that income will have increased. Hopefully salaries will be less of a burden than last time. I think we're in as good a place as we could be.
Indeed it does Spark. I'm wondering, Bobby is a pacey striker and isn't very tall, right? Does that mean we may be going for 2 front men?
Presumably that would be the case. Little point in bringing him in at that price if he doesn't figure heavily, and I can't see Zohore sitting on the bench to make way for him. Hope we can recreate the Bothroyd/Chopra combo that did so well for us - essentially two opposites upfront. Bothroyd had all the silky skills and at 6'3" he's the same height and had the skill factor that Zohore possesses, whilst Reid would seem to fit the Chopra player profile as well. Going to be very interesting.
If Warnock can instill the work ethic and a more combative attitude to his general play, he could be a sensation this season. He already has the ability, just needs to add concentration on what it takes for 90 minutes, not just the odd 10 minute flashes of flair. Having said that, flair is the one thing we've been short of recently, so watch this space!
Reading some of the groups on facey, some of the knob heads believe we should be signing Messi and Ronaldo .. The delusion of some City fans is laughable!
Plenty of pace in the team up front and out wide plus competition for places. Really would like to see a pacy ball carrying central midfielder and a quick right back.
Nothing really new in this Turkish report, but I just love the second line in their piece.."Welsh Giants"........ https://turkish-football.com/liverp...cardiff-city-turkish-giants-plan-hijack-move/
Also on my shopping list would be an alternative or cover for Zahore. What happens if he’s injured or off form. Ward & Healey (Fred?).
More good news. Etheridge extends his deal. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...ardiff-city-premier-league-transfers-14845736
