If you've never seen the movie, you should be able to stream it between your 2nd and 3rd coffee break. It's awesome!

The printer scene is iconic cinematic drama.

If you wear cowboy outfits, are you Ranch dressing?

    Just another of life's mysteries

I love where I live and my views, but I do miss the Sea. Any chance Northamptonshire could be moved to the coast?

I'd quite like a sea view here in landlocked Wiltshire, only need about an 80m increase in sea level. I'd better go and switch on an extra light or two.

Stop press ...... myself and about 19 other loonies will be a tour of the IOW on Sunday with the Needles Breezer, inflicting “cool” ukulele tunes on an unsuspecting public and collecting money for charity. Plan is to arrive in Yarmouth about 11, travel to Alum Bay for 12.30 for a couple of hours, then go on to Colwell Common till about 4, then back to Yarmouth for the ferry at 5.20.
Thought I’d best warn Fran in case she planned a bus tour on Sunday :emoticon-0102-bigsm.
Of course, it does mean missing Spain v Russia in the afternoon, unless I can find a suitable pub ....:emoticon-0103-cool:

    “Circus tigers”

Makes me shudder just reading that phrase. Hopefully they will get some enjoyment and a happy ending in their final years.

Nice, I'm sure they'd appreciate it, plus there would be a few less ukulele players around afterwards which can only be a good thing

Sorry Dave but I can't stand the noise of a group of enthusiastic ukulele players murdering popular tunes :emoticon-0100-smile

Glider pilots were about the most highly qualified of all military personnel in World War 2. They had to learn to fly light aircraft before they could start on gliders, and as well as that they had to learn to fight alongside the paratroopers the gliders were carrying, who the Germans regarded as the toughest enemy soldiers they faced. Heroes, every one of them.
