Why can't we discuss current affairs on here without it turning into an abuse throwing session? I can't discuss the news at work because my co workers are more interested in who will win X Factor and Big Brother than what is going on in the world and it is the same with my friends. I am surrounded by idiots. MODS, YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND CLOSE THIS
Because you have stuck me on ignore for highlighting your hypocrisy. This is a story i wouldn't mind discussing.
lol these people They'd rather the poor/less well off in society take the sh...it - but even when the economy is the sh...it they still won't tax the higher earners/and rich folks, lol work that logic out. That's probably why there all going bust and China is gonna become the strongest economy in the world
I hate to sound rude but if you can't have conversations about things that interest you with your friends you clearly need to find other friends or just put up iwith it without complaining. On the plus side for you, you've always said you think NI is a backwards little hole so you might have a better chance to move over the border now - 600 new jobs have just been created there.
Chico Jetset: "so colleagues...how bout that corporation tax?" Colleague: "**** off Chico" Chico Jetset: "Robocop or Terminator?" Colleague:"......seriously Chico....**** Off" Chico Jetset:".........So what do you want to talk about?" Colleaguer:"Chico, this is a very delicate stage of this brain surgery procedure, I know you can do these things with your eyes closed but us mere mortals need to concentrate........Chico......Chico.....are you on the ****ing internet?" Y'all thought I was going to insult him. I decided to mix it up a bit.
I just hope him and Cowboys form hell are the same person - if not the gene pool is in deep **** with both these spanner headed munchkins wanting to go round repopulating it
I only write and say Derry because I am a lazy git and two syllables is easier than 4. I forget that some people get offended no matter what way I say it so I apologise.
I agree the West of this Country does need investment. I've travelled out to many businesses out there and they simply aren't up to the same standard as ones in Belfast and surrounding areas, the current telecommunications infrastructure simply doesn't extend out there, but that is soon to change. Each year our ministers go out to the US hoping to attract businesses to Northern Ireland and they usually do return successful.
Thank you Medro for a proper reply. I agree with you that the infrastructure here is lacking in so many areas and we do have US businesses operating here but more needs to be done. I work for Allstate who are a US outfit and they people we deal with constantly talk up the quality of the workforce we have employed and I hope they resist the tax incentives on offer by the US government to relocate jobs back there. NI has a quality workforce on offer but the infrastructure in parts and the corporation tax in the Republic do not help matters as we need to be competitive with a country with which we share a land border.
