Another England v India Twenty20 this evening. Couldn't they have scheduled these for days when there were no World Cup games? India 7-1 after two overs.
36-3 after 7, India need a couple of big, quick scoring innings. It is a bit daft playing tonight. Brazil - Belgium could be the most attractive game of the World Cup so far.
Norman Tebbit isn't going to be happy about all the India supporters at the game. I heard a caller on a radio show on Thursday talking about being at Old Trafford for the first game, which coincided with England v Colombia. They put the football on the big screen as soon as the cricket finished, just in time for everyone to see Colombia's equaliser. By the end, though, the India supporters were joining the England supporters in singing Football's Coming Home.
Twenty20 decider against India this afternoon, with Stokes back in, replacing Joe Root. This strengthens England, I think. Root really isn't suited by T20 cricket.
Yep agree with that stroller, it’s not his natural game & has looked out of sorts, maybe 50 over but not 20.
Yeah, it looked we might get 220-230 but kept losing wickets. Could be another close finish, but India are favourites at the moment.
