Henderson is decent, but he isn't Gerrard and that leads a lot of our ('Pool) fans to under-rate him.
TBH being compared to gerrard is not a great scenario for anyone. If you take the armband as a midifelder right after gerrard as well it become almost inevitable. He is what he is as a player. Honest and hard working and decently skilled. Probably lucas suffered somewhat at outset as he was compared to mascherano and alonso as a yuong player finding his feet. He got to where he got to pre knee injury and was flying at his peak fitness. Kind of like darren fletcher at utd. once he was at peak fitness and flying he was at a very different level to he player who came back form his IBS issues.
Henderson's injury problem is my concern, I think he can perform at the highest level. We have got Keita now, is Jordan still going to play in CM?
difference between pushing each other (depending on how forceful the push) and having an arm around someone. If you don't see a difference fair enough
At this moment I think the middle three will be Keita, Henderson and Fabinho. Until Chamberlain is back to full fitness and we sign someone else.
Korea are looking good here and Germany looks pants. You know what'll happen, Germany to score soon...
Neville saying it wasn't a penalty for handball by his ex teammate Hernandez, but he knows full well they've been given for less. It was a blatant handball but the Mexican got away with it imo.
It was a "deliberate" handball, it was definitely a penalty, especially compared to some that have been given in the tournament so far.
just NEED to say this @saintKloppsky I was right though wasn't i? germany are shot through and look like they need 2 goals to have any hope now.
