Live a week on a million pounds, then a week eating scabs, and then tell me that.

Look, us English accepted the Norman invasion. We even started speaking French for a while. Live and let live <ok>

Fair enough, she is quite trampy. The imaginary one is frigid. That's how ****e my imagination is.

I'm not saying 'liberating' (good choice of words) NI would be the answer, but as we are we simply have no competitive advantages over anywhere else to bring any sort of business to the province. I pay rent in Guernsey and pay for 4 planes a week to commute back and forth to the missus and kids in Belfast and I'm still able to derive a higher net income than what is available locally in Belfast.

And I wouldn't want to move back fulltime to Belfast anyway, it's a miserable backwards hole. The site of all the flags hanging off all the lamposts, reminding you which chav gang controls this area as you try to go about your daily business is depressing as any. Another few years farting about here and I'm moving back home to Malta.

No , you're right, I am speaking from a position of ignorance as regards living under the control of a foreign power. I don't know how much it would bother me, I tend to worry more about my family than the "bigger picture" though. I'm quite insular like that.

The sig is from Naked Gun 2 1/2. I always tend to match my sig with my avatar. It's not my favourite film or anything, I just saw a bit of it a week ago and that line made me laugh.

Plus whenever there's a competition on TV or the back of a cereal box is always says "excluding Northern Ireland". Why do they always do that?

Insurance companies are the worst for that. I couldn't get my bird covered with Sheilas Wheels <ok>

Or when online shopping ****s stick 10 quid on their delivery charge for Northern Ireland and then send the thing via Royal Mail which doesn't actually charge extra <grr>

My mate from Ardoyne (who I previously got a job in Malta) is currently living in Panama and was thinking of taking a job in Citigroup back in Belfast. Hopefully managed to put him off going back, by telling him he is ****ing mental.

It's depressing Mick. Catch our local news and you could be forgiven for thinking you were transported back to the 70s although with less deaths. Same old ****e. It's embarrassing.
