Good Morning Everyone Bielsa has recruited former England and Liverpool employee Rob Price as their new head of medicine and performance. Price is to oversee United’s conditioning and physiotherapy in a new role created at Elland Road. Price worked as a physio for the Footbball Association between 2001 and 2005 and was part of Liverpool’s backroom team for seven years after being appointed by Rafael Benitez. He moved onto Hull in 2012 but has chosen to take up a post with Leeds despite receiving an offer of work from Manchester City. Spaniard Ruben Crespo is also leaving his role as Hull’s fitness coach to take up a similar position at Thorp Arch. Leeds jouro Phil Hay has given an update on the potential Leeds Utd targets... Phil Hay@PhilHayYEP So Hernandez - Leeds need to decide whether to pay the money. Vydra - Leeds need to decide whether to go to £11m/£12m. Gunn - Leeds need to wait and see if City will let him come. Stockdale - still discussing deal. Bartley - need things to sort themselves out at Swansea I don't think it will take Bielsa long to decide which players he wants, and which ones he doesn't. Whilst Leeds need to be careful when making such big decisions, players are being snapped up on a daily basis in the meantime! Pick a player:- Chris Kamara or Vinnie Jones and Ian Baird or Andy Ritchie
Good Morning to Matt and co from an overcast Bardsey Looks like we are still awaiting our first signing but out of the door goes Cibriki back to Sweden that leaves 12 to go Kamara and Baird
Morning all... I know nothing about the backroom appointments but can’t help but feel it’s a positive move. Two appointments around fitness and conditioning, guess it was always going to happen with Bielsa The Hull City forum has a thread on the staff departures, they’re unhappy about the exits, when fans express a concern about departures it’s good news for the receiving club.
So to summarise Phil hay’s Transfer update. Leeds need to decide whether to put their hand in their pocket. Sounds like we are the tyre kickers of the transfer window!
Morning Milky, now that Bielsa is getting his feet under the table, I'm hoping we'll see some activity by next week.
Fleetwood Towns Manager Joey Barton has asked Leeds Utd whether they can have Lewie Coyle on loan again, and according to Phil Hay, it is likely to happen. The 22 year old right back was their star player last season winning their player of the season by some margin but with Ayling fit again, it would be hard for the youngster to break into the first team. If he does go, lets hope there is a recall clause this time...
This may be of interest to someone. A friend of mine has 2 tickets in a corporate box for the next England v Belgium game Thur 28th June. He paid £300 each including flights but he didn't realise when he bought them months ago that it was going to be the same day as his wedding! If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place. It's at Queens Road Registry Office, at 4pm. The bride's name is Nicola -- she's 5'4", about 8 stone, quite pretty, has her own income and is a really good cook. Pm for more details.
