As of today, Les has nothing to do apparently so who knows. I expect whoever is running the ship to have even less of a clue.

    Morrocan by birth!
Chose to play for Norway........ because that's where he grew up.

He's no more norwegian than the "dead parrot" was in Monty Python!

The fact that he grew up in Norway and holds Norwegian citizenship makes him fairly Norwegian.

I find it strange that Forster seems to get a lot of abuse because a few seasons back everyone thought we had acquired the future England No.1 and he was one of the jewels in the crown. He has not automatically become a poor 'keeper and I don't actually think that it would be that beneficial t move him on. The only thing that I think he is poor at is his distribution and kicking of the ball. Other than that, I agree that McCarthy's form has been a factor in our survival last season but losing Forster would send out the wrong message for me. I am very comfortable with McCarthy and Forster both fighting for the goalkeeping jersey.

You also forgot lack of coming off his line and **** at getting down for low shots.

Other than those and the ones you listed he is virtually Manuel Neuer.

Maybe we should give him another rise just to be safe.

If we were being that picky....quite a few of our favourite sportsmen and women wouldn't be British. Our cricket team had some pretty dodgy accents<laugh> I think it's who you identify with.

Yes. I have known people from Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight claim allegiance to Southampton .

Sometimes we confer British status on someone for convenience. Like Boris Johnson. Wish he would fly back to the country of his birth as he is a damn inconvenience, whereas with Graeme Hick, British citizenship was earned and fully justified. As for Mo Farah, he is British through and through!! And the nation couldn´t have a better Brit to support and look up to.

I thought he was awful when he returned from injury. Something physical/mental had changed in him, imo.
Fortunately (? unfortunately) our defense, and particularly defensive midfield, played superbly at that time leaving him with little to do.
Then the opposition twigged shooting on spec paid dividends.

Keep reading Christopher Jullien (a CB) being linked with us, but if /when Cedric goes, who is likely to come in for him?
