I think Argentina will beat France.

 

That's what I'm hoping...France look boring...for all that talent...the way they play is dire to watch.

 

France were ****ing woeful today. Boring ****s deserve to get kicked about by the Argies.

 

Just today or generally? They were very cynical today bcos they know a draw would allow them to top the group. Still ****ers for doing it though.

 

I generally find that they flatter to deceive. Always seem to find their games on the brinks of boring. I say always...I mean recently or whenever I watch them.

 

Yeh I kinda agree. Nowhere near the team of 10-20 yrs ago. No real excitement in their football.

 

Him, Pele and Cruyff (not necessarily in that order) were simply the best ever.

For about 6 years he was, by some margin, a better player than Messi has ever been.

 

Wouldn't like to call that one.

Neither side has impressed much so far, despite all the talent on display.

Never really saw the other too but watched Maradona....had never seen anything like it.

 

I’m not sure I agree. At the time, it didn’t seem that he separated himself from Platini and Zico by such a large gap, and for as long as Messi/Ronaldo have their contemporaries.
