you never want him in that position. Whenever anything is high pressure that man bottle its. Only good for holding the ball up.

Ask him to be a flat track bully and you're fine

Seriously Argentina needs some balance. They have 50 millions strikers and wingers and hardly any creative midfielders. They need to address this after the World Cup.

wtf was sampaio bringing that Mesa on though. Absolutely useless. Dybala, aguero and he ****ing chucks that mesa on. Apart from losing the ball and dribbling it off the field that guy was useless.

It'll be interesting to see Argentina play a top side for a change. I wonder if they'll play better against France?

I think he probably forgot as Argentina are overloaded with strikers and wingers. Aguero should have been on the pitch.

Aguero had same problems in first games.

They need to fix midfield and defence not forwards.

i'd never build a team around higuain.

But tbh argentina play much better with him in this pedestrian side. Aguero is great playing through balls through and being deadly and getting on the end of stuff. At this level though, Argentina are too pedestrian and shut off the supply. Higuain brings a lot more in that he can hold it up and head it on which Aguero can't do.

He just brings a lot more balance to their team imo

Argentina are in a similar position to England after the last world cup and Euros. Alot of older players living on past glories. Only difference is that Argentina have Messi and we were stuck with Rooney.

They've got 4 years to stop picking Higuain, Di Maria, Masca etc who will be too old for the next World Cup anyway. Start afresh, drop any player that's over 28/29 as they'll have almost no worth on the pitch come Qatar.
