Ehab think he’s so effing smart offering peanuts for players. Absolutely embarssing. Penny pinching all the way like the McKenna deal.

What he doesn’t realise is his general twattery, costs him money in the long run. The current players will have a full pre season of games, therefore leading to injuries or a loss of form meaning they need replacing one January. This happened to Davies when we got relegated and numerous others. He couldn’t give a toss I suppose.

What’s the point us playing 5-6 pre season games anyway? Might as well play 3 or 4.

Maybe he has to save money?
Every team has a Playing budget. If he isn't going to pay extra out of his own pocket are you?

£31 million in parachute payments, allocated specifically to cover wages.

Players benefit a full pre season....it doesn't hamper them

Would you rather he use it to pay wages and stay or pay the money back the club owes the family and then **** off?

Maybe so but your better tackling it with 20 first teamers plus a compliment of 5-6 youth players.

Let’s just see how many get injured by October.

In an ideal world. But I’d rather he not take us to League 1 and lose Bowen etc.

But he isn't...He is reducing the playing budget significantly despite having significant parachute payments and keeping the asking price for the club the same as it was six months ago.

Unless he reduces the playing budget he can't get his money back.

Who knows the true asking price, it's all guess work..... For what it's worth I think they will keep the asking price above market value until the debt is payed back and then sell. This way they get their money back, keep earning the interest on the owed money and then finally get a lump ontop when they sell.

Ideally your costs match your income at the same time, with a small profit. The owner's costs were far too high chasing the golden goose so they've made the costs far too low to balance the books.

Not sure why they're salting the earth at the same time but financially I can see why they're doing what they're doing (as long as the asking price becomes competitive).

    Of course he can....

I imagine a number of owners have got their own back by increasing the playing budget not reducing it.

He could invest in good youngsters and sell them on, or win promotion or try and get us up the league. If we are successful the chances of us getting sold are far in excess of what they are if we are where we finished last season.. So yes he can get his money back without reducing the playing budget that is factually incorrect. Without any risk? Potentially not....

Howden - Clearly the asking price is something unreasonable in my eyes as other clubs in worse or similar situations have been sold in the past 6-8 months, why's that? Of course we don't know the exact figure, but some of us certainly have an idea.

He is investing in good youngsters. Bowen, McDonald, Toral, etc.
As you've been told many times. He's doing it low to no risk.
Say the three teams who've come down all spend a fortune and have cracking teams. Would you still invest 60 or 70 million of your own money chasing the chance?
Boro are, forest, Leeds probably more.
    Only three go up though.
Risky? Just get the right players in, right manager, pay em a fortune and jobs a good un.
Would you, would you risk it?
The Allams have done it twice.
Third time? Nah they're not going for it.

Let’s be honest Ehab is a dunce has no plan and everything he is doing is bitterness toward us.

He would have loved to have been a Premier League chairmen, buts he’s not bright enough to sustain that and 90% of all his decisions have been wrong.

I’m not going to commend him for settling his debt and leaving till he actually does.

It looks to me as if he is budgeting for a mid table team on the cheap. The players we are been linked with are cheap and could increase in value, however will not win promotion.

I think the end game is reduce costs and level just enough to attract a buyer. While doing this trouser as much as possible to reduce the asking price.

He needs some assets to make the club appealing, more so by not owning the ground.

Why don't we have a buyer yet, quite simple really, we are not value for money compared to other clubs up for sale.
