http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-foyle-west-14715107 Derry have lost out on potentially 300 much needed jobs because of the lower rate of corporation tax in the Republic which is a massive blow to the local economy. I must admit that I was unsure about the campaign to lower the rate here because no one seems to be able to come up with ideas as to how the lost revenue could be made up. Now though, if we are actually losing out on businesses locating here I am thinking that maybe it is something that needs to be more seriously considered along with the proposed A5 road project. The West desperately needs investment.
I would have thought you would be interested in something like this, being the big shot politician and all that
Because you are a Celtic fan and all Celtic fans have a moral and historical responsibility to show an interest in Ireland....or something like that.
He pretends but when time comes to actually discuss issues with minimal complexity he is found seriously wanting. On the issue of corporation tax it is a no brainer really. It is one of the biggest factors of a country's attractiveness to Foreign Direct Investment but we are being run here by people whos primary qualification is bigotry and paramilitary involvement so dont expect much wisdom from them when it comes to the world of economics.
Do you? Perhaps you could complain to Mick and throw in the fact I'm a racist for calling you a pikey **** while you're at it
