    Sky Sports News just got me all excited there when they said a 2nd player is in Newcastle having a medical.

    Rob Elliot has apparently come up to have a medical and discuss terms.

    Urgh. I hope this doesnt mean the end of Steve Harper.

    I'd be gutted if he went. More so than when Given left.

    Harper is always getting injured and Soderberg wants to go out on loan. Makes sense.

    Rob Elliott and Davide Santon were picked up from Newcastle airport according to a lad who works for the chaffuer company who picks up for Newcastle. I take it all with a pinch of salt and therfore didn't bother posting it when I found out last night. When they are on NUFC.co.uk then I believe! Could only see Harper leaving if Bolec coming in also. I can't understand it but it may be they will save a significant amount of money by getting rid of Harps. Bolec and Elliott would be getting buttons afterall.

    This, although sense seems to be something the hierarchy at NUFC seem to be lacking, so we'll see.

    I heard a while back that the club was looking to let Harper go, think it is more down to age rather than wages and seems to be very injury prone.

    Someone else told me he is apparently refusing to play unless he is first choice, took this with a pinch of salt. But seem to remember given throning a similar kind of strop.
