My gigging schedule pretty much precludes any chances of my seeing any matches in and around London.

Over the past decade, I have got to see around half a dozen matches per season.

That wouldn't justify me splashing out on a season ticket.

 

There's nothing wrong with armchair fans mate , I have been to more Arsenal games than that in the last decade and I don't even support them.

 

I did the "ardent fan" and the "season ticket" thing for many years, Duncs.

I've paid my dues.

Now, there are more important things in my life than football.
