    ...................................

We get one single home Friendly this year. Apparently work is ongoing again on the pitch.

We are less than a week away form offically signing fabinho and Kieta and them starting preseason along with the likes of the mighty Harry wilson, Lazar Markovic and of course Loris Karius.

Not bored. I've amused myself with a Coverage World Cup, featuring the commentators, presenters, pundits and roving reporters. Screw their player rater, let's see how they like it. Here's how the draw looks to decide who is the Campeón de Coverage Mondial.

    GROUP A
    Simon Brotherton vs. Guy Mowbray
    David Stowell vs. Kelly Cates
    Cesc Fabregas vs. Glenn Hoddle
    Leon Mann vs. Mark Chapman

    GROUP B
    Alan Shearer vs. Gary Neville
    Frank Lampard vs. Ian Wright
    Clive Tyldesley vs. Sam Matterface
    Kevin Kilbane vs. Danny Murphy

    GROUP C
    Ryan Giggs vs. Matthew Upson
    Dan Walker vs. Jacqui Oatley
    Jermaine Jenas vs. Patrice Evra
    Roy Keane vs. Mark Lawrenson

    GROUP D
    Vicki Sparks vs. Ian Dennis
    Lee Dixon vs. Ali McCoist
    Martin O’Neill vs. Jurgen Klinsmann
    Mark Pougatch vs. Gary Lineker

    GROUP E
    Alan Green vs. Jon Champion
    Rio Ferdinand vs. Slaven Bilic
    Seema Jaswal vs. Jason Mohammad
    Alex Scott vs. Eni Oluko

    GROUP F
    Gabby Logan vs.Gabriel Clarke
    Martin Keown vs. Iain Dowie
    Pablo Zabaleta vs.Phil Neville
    Didier Drogba vs. Henrik Larsson

Who will progress, who's on the plane home and just how big a twat is Gabriel Clarke?

There's a tasty match-up in Group C between the Masters of Misery, Keane and Lawrenson. It'll be raining and VAR will be broken.

Great, a summer of moaning about Karius. Cannot wait.

    More hated than Gabriel Clarke.

I think he will stay and be our number 2 personally.

Who will be our main keeper who knows.

If we will pay the fee it will be Allison.

You dont think we will get another in then?

Migs off maybe. So another young keeper with potential as number 2 or ward step up.

Yeah, if Migs is off we will replace but I think Klopp will have faith in Karius. Despite the CL final I think he is a good keeper

    Super excited for game 1.

The team will barely be together and the game is actually a rest for them from the hell of klopp and kornmayer.

Wilson, ings, sturridge, origi will all be vying for a kick about up top.

Milner windy and a few kids will want to prove that Keita and fabinho are not the only options in midfield

Matip, klavan, Moreno, clyne and gomez will be hoping vvd saves their blushes again.

And of course our boy karius deserves our love and support.

So plenty of stars will be on show for a 45min cameo.

    Karius
    Clyne gomez klavan Moreno
    Kieta fabinho milner
    Wilson ings origi

Can't wait for some real footy.

Plus I can't wait to see close ups of the girls in the crowd.

Why are we only playing small teams in our warm up games. The highlight is Borussia Dortmund

Karius will be first choice keeper and he is also number 2.

A big pile of steaming number 2

As soon as the CL final was over, the price of any GK we might have been interested in shot up 50%. Basically Karius has priced us out of replacing him by being bad.

Should have got Rui Patricio before Wolves and sold Migs, used the money elsewhere and gone back for a GK next summer.

And before the CL final, confidence in Karius was growing so it was looking less likely we'd even be in for a new keeper

Mignolet can go. He's on too high a wage for his contribution.

I suppose after De Gea's error for Spain, he'll be sold by Utd. And Caballero will be on the market, too. A few more keeper errors in the WC and the market will be swamped with terrible keepers, then we won't be able to buy a good one, because everybody who sold their terrible keeper will have snapped the good ones up.

Iran's keeper looked useful. Didn't seem to make any errors and saved a penalty, which is almost as many as Karius has saved.

And in other news, results are in and the second round of the Coverage World Cup has been announced. Now it's no longer commentator vs. commentator, pundit vs. pundit. It's about to get tasty.

    Glenn Hoddle vs. Gabby Logan
    Mark Chapman vs. Martin Keown
    Ian Wright vs. Alex Scott
    Clive Tyldesley vs. Slaven Bilic
    Jermaine Jenas vs. Vicki Sparks
    Roy Keane vs. Ali McCoist
