Watched the season 2 finale of Westworld. Great series 9/10 so far. Looking forward to where they go with it now.

Watched mute the film .Pretty weird watching Paul Rudd character but thought he did the role pretty well.

Nice weird futuristic setting. Story was a bit lacking imo. Quite like what becomes of some of the characters. Not brilliant but an alright watch. 7/10

Saw oceans eight with the missus. Classic all hype. Was ill as well so that meant I couldn't be bothered but it was okay. Typical overdone franchisee movie imo. 6/10

hmmm for me the power of oceans was expended on no 1.

the oceans move is 95% set up then the heist is all slick fast and brilliant.

once it was done once the rest were inevitably just copies.

oceans 8 merely follows the trend of Ghostbusters in just taking an all female cast and regurgitating an old movie.

Ghostbusters was awful and I don't care enough about ocean's to hate on 8.

I won't be paying cinema prices for it.. not in this weather. too much other things to be doing.

This new trend of adding an all women cast is hypocritical and the 2 so far are complete duds.

I agree as wonderwoman did more for female stardom.

if you go all female the reality is 50% of audience (us) say ok.. movie is not for men then is it? instantly it's on a downer in terms of business.

the trend is must have female director, producer, cast and they I think even rate dialogue. is it to a man.. are they talking about a man... oh it's bad.

when the revenues are down and they wonder why... well...

As soon as I see an all female cast I'm not interested.

Annihilation I enjoyed, Arq has a bad rep and Creep has a good rep but it's one of these hand held camera affairs like The Blair Witch.

You can get Denial elsewhere as it was originally released a while back, watched it last night, was pretty good actually, maybe 7.5/10 ?? Some strong performances from Rachel Weisz, Timothy Spall, Tom Wilkinson and Andrew Scott

It's on Amazon, isn't it? The film is sound. Think you can still get Paxman's interview with Irving after the verdict, when he 'accused' Paxman of being a Jew, on YouTube.
