Steward Leigh is someone I like and going back a bit Dylan Moran.

 

Moran was brill. I still watch Black Books occasionally. British comedy used to be fantastic. It's utter pants now

 

Bridget Christie is pretty funny.

 

In the 1980s I liked Hattie Hayridge.
Her style was IMHO akin to Steven Wright, and
she never needed to resort to crude/gross language.
