Am I the only one that thinks Stones has been decent so far in his 1 and a half matches and looked good...... Well better than I expected. It's Walker who has been the liability more often than not by being constantly in the wrong place and pulling the other two about.
Henderson is still rubbish and Sterling a waste of space obviously. And still don't know what Loftus-Cheek brings to the squad.
Kane is merely showing the world all traits of a beast of a goalscorer . Tunisia : 6 yard box pouncing. Panama : penalty maestro. Some future opponents will be worried they are the day when the entry on his traits list reads "worldies" ...
5-0 up against a pub team and our midfield still struggle to pass to a team mate....... Kane hat-trick! And off for a well earned rest.
Kane hat-trick? And he's off.... Difficult to judge anyone against such limited opponents so far. And the Belgium game might have the feeling of a friendly unless there's a desire to win the group. The judgements can be made when England play a team who are strong in midfield, keep the ball and are a threat to our defence.
We have still looked poor at winning the ball back and are so vulnerable defensively. One good ball away from complete panic at the back.
Meanwhile, in the Marca newsroom, the tapping-up department have thrown their arms in the air and decided it's not worth building Spurs their own international airport...
Can only beat what is in front of us. Not often it's comfortable to watch England in a tournament. Definitely bigger tests to come but so far so good.
Rose on for Trippier. Can't have all the Spurs players off the pitch or Panama might make a comeback...
Sterling can't hit a feckin' cows arse with a banjo - but Danny 'Second-rate' Murphy thinks he's great!! WTF!!
