If there's an alternative to goat....perhaps a chicken. Otherwise I'll bring a sandwich. And could he pick me up....on his way back from Wales when he picks up Helen.
Dropped off early to pup by my lift so 2 pints in, someone been sick, and a small fight outside already. It's just like the 80s, bring it on.
Is it just me, or is Yoshida becoming a household name. They are using him to promote this match now along with Mane. Saints Legend, Japan Legend, Everyones Legend.
Senegal's manager just went for it in an interview just now! Aliou Cissé was asked about Japan's manager saying Senegal will need to use their brains and be disciplined against his side. He said that most of Senegal's players are playing in Europe - several for big clubs, in big games - and are actually more exposed to more competitive, more technical and more demanding football than the Japan squad is, on the whole. Japan's squad has a more domestic bias. He's tired of the racial stereotyping and cliche of black Africans being all about pace, power and strength. Ouch! (and fair play...)
Seeing how they both did in their first games, the stadium will be cleaner after the game than before
Keeps the group very wide open. Unfortunately though, it does possibly set us up for our first 0-0 of the competition later. If there's a loser between Poland and Colombia, that sends them out, whereas a draw keeps their respective destiny's in their own hands (albeit they may need to win their final matches by two goals). There's not even that much of a reward for winning tonight. Such a winner would almost certainly still have to win their last game any way (albeit without any requirement to do it by two goals). So two sides taking to the field tonight who are both scared to lose, is a risk.
