Young should've been benched too, in my opinion. He's got no left foot, so he keeps cutting inside all day long. Really not ideal in the system that Southgate's using.
I'd play Young ahead of Rose, if that's what you're getting at. Probably would have started Rashford ahead of Sterling though.

Rose or Delph should be playing on the left. It's a role that needs real width and he doesn't provide it.
I assume this was aimed at my last post. About as accurate as a Southampton striker last season! Lollana and Clyne were injured last season. They'd probably be in the squad, otherwise. Any Scouser who could walk unaided got in, didn't they?
Don’t get any argument for playing Young. If we get through we need Rose firing. With Young it’s just a result if he doesn’t give the ball away.
