Sadly though, we as a nation thrive on gossip and no talent. The rise of the 'reality star' (aka no talent, but fame hungry) says it all. We knock people like Beckham & Kane for the way they talk - Beckham summed it up once when asked if he was worried if people thought he was thick. He replied along the lines that he is paid to kick a football around and he is good at that - he never professes to be brain of Britain. Same with all our National Team. Forget what they do away from the pitch, do they do it on the pitch. Forget how they speak, what they say. Let them get on with trying to produce something special in sport...and that is what it is - a sport. It is escapism to us, but when all is said and done it is a game to be enjoyed. The press are too happy to want talent to fail, whereas they will kiss arse of the next no talent reality star. Rant over.
Buzzing for tomorrow now. Got my lad overnight who's been singing 3 lions all day. Up early get our England gear on and the flag out and off to a mates house for lunch and the game. COME ON ENGLAND!!
Nah I haven't actually, will be tomorrow after a glorious England win and him being picked up by his mother though
Engerland, Engerland, Engerland! * I think we should petition the Queen to put the extra R in officially.
Where on Earth are you from? We're from Engerland? Where you come from, do you put the kettle on? Pumped already... come on lads!!!
There seems to be a remarkable sea change in attitude on here.....weren't we doomed to ignoble defeat a few months back. Come on, England. Do this the easy way....two consecutive wins and we're through.
I dunno @SaintsForTheWin has been saying we're going to win it for a while now and I'm always pretty positive with England too
