OK King they did make a lot of fouls the question is was it innocent as I think or intentional as you say. Difficult to say either way but they always apologised
Something we are seeing at every game now....players treading on other players boots. That is nasty whoever does it.
Mixed feelings for me today. Part 1: Worldie from Son ruins my perfect score. Part 2: German last gasp winner makes my perfect score.
I always thought that Alison was an arrogant, ignorant prick - and I wasn't wrong Well done, Muller's!!
I don't know about luck, Smithy, I'd say they had a great never say die attitude..that was world class from Kroos when it was needed the most. They really turned the screw on Sweden, in the 2nd half.
Yes it was a good finish but the luck was getting the free kick in the first place, the luck was not having a penalty awarded to Sweden earlier in the game when the Swede was clearly pushed to the ground as he was about to shoot in the penalty area. The luck was Gazza missing the winning goal by a big toe in the semi finals of the European Championships. The luck was coming up against a superior Dutch team in the World Cup Final that wanted to showboat rather than graft. The luck was winning on penalties numerous times. I think it's fair to say that yes the Germans are always skillful and always play until the end but I can't think of another side in world football that has had so many lucky breaks. So much so that the mindset of their opponents could be said to give them a head start anyway. Anyway this time their defence looks very shaky so it's a question of whether their undeniably excellent attack can make up for it. Not forgetting lady luck of course.
