Love James Corden or hate him. Love the Beatles or hate them. This is pure class. Carpool Karaoke with Sir Paul McCartney & James. How amazing to drive down Penny Lane, singing Penny Lane with Sir Paul. How amazing to duet with him to anything. James tears up a bit, and I can see why. 23 mins long, but worth it.
Here are the latest band to emerge from our fair city and they are playing the 50th Anniversary IOW Festival today...

Who remembers this?...nostalgia overload for me, Saturday nights were staying up with my older brother watching this and the genuinely creepy programme Chiller while our parents had gone out for the evening.... Adam Faith starred as Budgie, a sort of forerunner to Minder...
Just watched it on Facebook, very nicely done. Well done Sir Paul, those people in the pub will never forget that!
And well done James Cordon. I don’t know why, but he seems to get a lot of stick and does so in amongst my group of mates. However, I think he’s just a big kid, having some fun. Most things he does are childish, but harmless (unless there’s stuff I don’t know about). I loved the bit in the barber shop and then his old street. Couldn’t believe it when he got to the pub. I was commenting to my wife that it was incredible how word got round. Well done to both of them and as you say Chilcs, imagine the folk in that pub.
I loved the way James teared up - you could see that was real, not for the cameras. He was actually singing "Let It Be" in the car with Sir Paul McCartney, after Sir Paul told him the story about it. And his grandfather used to sing it with him. Amazing stuff. The one comedy moment I loved was when they went to Sir Paul's old house and he said "Hi, I'm Paul McCartney"...as if she didn't know who he was
