plus just made absolutely sure by making symbol with his hands.

Imo there's no place for it period.

he should be banned for a couple games by fifa.

if the poppy = a fine for England... well what does that kind of naked political grandstanding get.

plus it insults the country he is representing

iverpoolhave reportedly made a sensational offer for Real Madrid star Marco Asensio.

The Reds saw a move for Lyon’s Nabil Fekir fall through recently and Jurgen Klopp wants to bolster his attacking ranks.

According to Diario Gol, Liverpool have offered an incredible €140m (£123m) for Real’s Asensio.

Asensio struggled for regular game time last season and has been heavily linked with a Bernabeu exit this summer, with Chelsea also believed to be keen.

Xherdan Shaqiri’s move from Stoke to Liverpool is ‘imminent’, the bookies believe.

The Swiss ace starred in their World Cup win last night scoring a late stunner to beat Serbia.

And that display has seen the bookies slash odds on the midfielder moving to Liverpool to just 2/7.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told Starsport: “Shaqiri's performances in Moscow have forced us to cut odds on Liverpool making a shock summer move

Ironic that Switzerland is supposed to be the great neutral nation. There's some serious history between Croats and Serbs, with the Croats supporting Hitler during the war, while the Serbs were Communist. Tito was actually a Croat but led the resistance during the war. It's complicated.

Should we sign him? Well, we sign Italians and they were also on Hitler's side.

I disagree. I don't think it should be illegal to wear the flag of your birth on your shoes.

His motives might be suspect in this instance and it might make him a bit of a twat, but we don't want to set a dangerous precedent outlawing people from wearing a flag. Especially since some flags are just bicolour stripes.

I believe a lot were, the ones that were not he put in camps or just had them killed. Apparently he was not a nice bloke, he also had a Charlie Chaplin moustache. Going for the comedy vote there I think.

That good German, Colonel von Stauffenberg tried to assassinate Hitler. But he only had one eye, so he'd have to play on the wing.

We could play him on the left wing, and Hitler on the right wing.

My grandad was up against Rommel in the desert. Didn't rate him. Coincidentally, I've been rereading Spike Milligan's war trilogy, which also takes place in that campaign. I keep it in the bog. I went for a crap before the Tunisia game and this was the first thing I read:

"The lads were preparing for visits to Tunis.

"'Conquerors! that's what we are, ' said Gunner Patrick Devine in thick Liverpudlian tones."

    It's all connected.
