Derp, of course...I was counting Brazil in the second round regardless, because, well, it's Brazil and they get to advance even if they don't have enough points, right?
Basically not changed anything; too early to tell. Brazil are in slightly less danger than they would have been had Serbia held on (they could have been knocked out by drawing Serbia, whereas now they need to lose), but in danger they still are.
What is going on at the World Cup? I understand that the odd foul/penalty might be missed, but there seems to be wilful ignoring of the most obvious ones. Touch someone with an eyelash and it's a penalty, but slam dunk them..nothing. Has a rule secretly been rewritten. If so, it's worth the risk if an almost certain goal is on.
It's unbelievable what has been given and what hasn't, especially with the team of 'experts' reviewing such incidents. I just don't get it. Even someone that knows next to nothing about football would give that as a penalty.
Belgium pen, reviewed on VAR to see if it was outside the area, but confirmed. Looked outside to me but what do I know? 1-0 Hazard.
Glad I'm not the only one. I thought it was just outside, but the commentators seemed sure it was inside.
Still think Belgium will end up winning this one comfortably (especially as the Tunisian defence is so shaky under any sort of vague pressure), but before Tunisia pulled one back it was looking like they were going to run away with it. Bit more of a game now, I'm enjoying the pace this game is being played at.
