Might be an unpopular opinion but I think Shaqiri has had a good game tonight. I think he could do a good job for us if he stayed away from the pies.
how was that not a penalty? Mitro had 2 defenders pulling him down. ****ing disgraceful! if a defender isn't looking at the ball, his back to the corner/freekick/cross and is just looking at the at the attacker and is holding then it should be a penalty all day. if the defender is at least looking at the flight of the ball then a bit of grappling then its up to the ref who was the aggressor. but that was a clear penalty...
I didn't see the game but from what I read it sounds like he had a decent game. I dunno... I guess take him out of Stoke and maybe he will fare better when not surrounded by clobber-merchants. Still not my first pick, but Klopp isn't often wrong in the transfer market.
He did play well, but having Kosovo flags on his boots to wind up the Serbs was a bit naughty, surprised FIFA allowed it as it was a political statement.
Real Madrid have entered the race for Lyon attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir as Liverpool risk missing out on the 24-year-old France international. (RT France, via Mirror) Liverpool have ended their interest in Roma's 25-year-old Brazil international goalkeeper Alisson. (Don Balon, via Express) Liverpool have been tipped to sign Stoke City and Switzerland midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri, 26. (Express)
Until a few weeks ago I hadn't realised Fekir was a Frog, I'd just assumed he was North African. It's obviously RHC who's lobbed a spanner in the transfer works there.
Just read the sad news that Jose Enrique has had a brain tumour removed, hope the lad makes a full recovery. Jose Enrique brain tumour: Ex-Liverpool & Newcastle defender recovering from surgery https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44585769
Nabil Fekir knee injuries Knee contusion - February/April 2018 (Seven games missed) Knee injury - August/September 2016 (Three games missed) Cruciate ligament rupture - September 2015/April 2016 (39 games missed)
He probably is North African. France claims all the best players from their former colonies as French somehow.
He's from Algerian descent. Mbappe is Cameroonian descent. Think there's a few others too. So yep you're right.
I'm currently reading When Breath Becomes Air, which is by a neurosurgeon. There are millimeters between full recovery and serious consequences - loss of language, paralysis, etc etc. Scary stuff to be responsible for.
Think for that sort of money we really must sign Shaqiri, or he'll cast a spell to kill that poor fish again. please log in to view this image
