I was in Bruges in December. Went in a little bar and they had an Xmas beer on tap.I asked the barman for one he said do you want the strong one or the normal one. I said what's the strong ??? He said it's 10.5% but the weak ones 8% 8 per cent weak !!! Bloody lovely dark beer it was I had a couple.
Was in Paris a few years back for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Think that was all I drank all weekend. Lovely drop
Pelforth is great. There's also a common or garden basic draught 'lager' they sell on tap that is superb in the summer. Never seen it in bottles though, only ever seen the three above sold in bottles
