Some years ago I was in Tesco with my wife - who needed some coconut flakes ( for baking .) The assistant asked ' do you want a small packet or a box '? Wife replied ' A box please. Nah - last time I was down there was a hellish amount of rioting and your tellies weren't working. Covered in rubbish and pish as well if I remember. And the amount of police around must mean it must be a crime hotspot. I wasn't impressed I'm afraid.

As a current resident of the borough of Wigan (just about), I'd like to disassociate myself with the actions of Mancunians/Salfordians earlier this month. Besides, it was Chelsea fans causing all the trouble.
The best bit about that report was the fact that one picture of the poor girl showed her wearing a hard hat. Lovely sensitivity.
