Hmm, let's look at things in perspective here.

1: it's the London version of the Daily Mail who think everyone in Scotland hates England and are living in castles on tax payers money while drinking Buckfast and shooting up heroin

    2: it's the Daily Mail

    3: it's a load of ****e

I work for the Daily Mail and I don't tell lies. Well actually I don't work for the Daily Mail, but I do tell lies - Does that mean that I actually DO work for the Daily Mail ?

My mother was arrested over the weekend for paying for her groceries with English notes rather than Scottish ones. The checkout girl let her off with it but, when I heard the story, I immediately informed the authorities. <ok>

It's wrong. Simple as. Shouldn't have happened.

However, I've seen Union flags be confiscated at Tynecastle so don't think it's an anti-English thing.

I went into Tesco over the weekend and complained to the store manager when, to my horror, I was in the food condiments isle, I was looking for peppercorns when I cam across ENGLISH mustard, my daughter was with me and she started crying uncontrollably.

Tesco are well known for flouting the law. Despite numerous warnings, they still openly sell Yorkshire puddings and Cornish pasties. <grr>
