Iran defended really well today. A “bus” par excellence. In fact, I believe that they deserved a draw Portugal v Iran could be interesting with a surprise result.
If they had been a bit more attack minded they could easily have caused Spain more problems as they was average tonight.
After a good start to this years world cup there were three boring games today. All won by a goal to nil. No 0-0 draws as of yet though.
To be fair to Iran, in spite of their dirty tricks, they defended really well. We'd struggle just as much to break them down.

Argentina v Croatia, feels like a proper game this one, Croatia have not much to lose by having a go, if they win Argentina probably play France in the 16. I've enjoyed the tournament so far, but I've not seen anything that should terrify England. Not saying we'd beat them all, but whoever we get, I'd give us a chance.
