I wait for the bus nearly every morning at 6.50 am in Latchford to take me into Warrington. This guy appears every morning with a big bag and one of those sticks with pincers on the end. He walks down the pavement picking up all the litter he comes across. He doesn't work for the council. He's just a member of the public. There's public-spirited for you. very true. talking to my mate other day about this for some reason, said i used to get bones from butchers years ago when had dogs. now days they just get them chews and stick things etc. maybe owners got pissed off with them digging up garden and hiding their bones
