Lichsteiner did exactly what I hope he will do at Arsenal, niggly fouls, fall over at every opportunity, complain to the ref and wind up the opposition.

    England look decent.

But for me Pickford looks very shaky and nervous. (typical)

The defense did not help trying to keep the ball and playing silly balls Beck to keeper

I have fond memories of them back in the days but watching them play now with zero passion, flamboyance and attacking flair is annoying. Something that the Super Eagles was well known for is sadly something of the past. Too many teams are adopting the European framework and ignoring their natural flair and attacking capabilities. Sadly too many African sides are doing this.

The Senegal v Poland game wasn't the best game. Poland lacked ideas and passion until the end of the game. Senegal looked solid and showed glimpses of something. Some of their players had some real pace and skill especially that 20 year old right back, he was electric. They've been the best African country so far and should finish top of the table. Strong overall team.

Elneny has looked like absolute Garbage for Egypt.

He really isn't Arsenal quality. Cant believe they offered him a new deal.

Ok what's the real reason you don't like Elneny? Are you jealous of his hair?

Because he IS terrible. Truly TRULY awful. He wouldn't make the squad of any top European side.
That display today was soo bad. Most of the Egypts squad actually plays in the Egyptian league and he fits right in. I think thats says it all.
(Mo Salah clearly looks a level above everyone else in that side - even when he is injured.)

All he has going for him is enthusiasm. He runs alot. But you know what so does my neighbours Labrador and I dont want Arsenal playing him in midfield.

But yes I envy those locks.

I like Elneny. Not sure what people are watching. I think he's a steady player. Not a world beater but decent.

    Nice squad option for me.

He cant pass the ball forward. It drive me nuts. Sideways or backwards.
Seems like a nice lad though - always smiling.

Anyone else a little concerned our next signing Torreira is not starting ahead of a fairly mediocre Uruguay midfield?

Iran have been unlucky not to grab a draw against Spain. Played a decent counter attacking strategy - In fact I think with better forwards that's probably the best way to beat Spain.
