It is funny this catch-up tv! It's not been around all that long but I now get really annoyed if the programme I want to watch isn't there when I want to watch it! And when they haven't "acquired the rights" to a programme... Iplayer is the best though, although it is sometimes annoying that you only have 7 days to watch something. Although it was excellent for The Killing... I came to that after about 8 episodes and I was hooked!

yeah, its funny about that. I always get wound up when a tv channel does not have a +1 channel. I often miss things due to clashes and want to watch them later but i cant. I have never seen that, but i did see Walking dead and the same thing happened there.

ITV+1 is useless though! Whenever there is something I want to watch, it can't show it due to contractual reasons. I normally forget the +1 channels though. I used to watch Dave Ja Vu in the evenings but now thats gone to make way for "Really" which is an appalling channel!

Morning all - dull start in West West London.

Could I have a couple of Puffin eggs lightly poached with some wholemeal toast?

I wonder what the next few days will bring - long wait until Reading..

Morning all from a very bright and sunny Paris:) I have had a great few days living the life:) That was until I started to make and cook a meal for the good lady, I though I would make her a curry with the left over chicken from the previous day, everything was going swimmingly until I started to chop up the pepper with a very sharp knife! I had just said to myself that this knife is super sharp and I must get myself one of these bad boys from ikea, then the knife slipped and I tried to chop off the end of my thumb:( Straight into first aid mode, under running water diect pressure with a piece of kitchen roll. Brave little soldier that I am, I called the wife asking her where the nearest hospital was, then carried on making the meal.
Down to the pharmacy (better trained than their UK counterparts) he had a look and gave the gallic shrug and said hospital, so bus trip to the hospital through the administration process and then got seen by this very pretty young doctor who removed the dressing I had on with some very sharp antiseptic liquid<yikes> she did the gallic shrug and went to ask advice from a more senior doctor who came in folded back the skin on my thumb (I did not swear but did a little tap dance and he said I like to hurt the patients, I thought yeah and I like punching people who hurt me <laugh> Anyway he gave another gallic shrug and said no stitches just stera strips, so three hours after cutting myself we are back on the bus to my wifes apartment. We stopped off and got some sterile dressing and some micropore tape just in case during the night it started to bleed again.
Now fully washed, shaved and showered and dressed airing my digit prior to flying home later today, it is great fun trying to shave and shower whilst trying to keep a dressing dryish, failed miserably though<laugh>
So now I am going to wait a little while and dress my digit again and take a walk round the local street market prior to having lunch with the wife and getting the bus to the airport!
I have discovered a new time zone, I am au fait with GMT and Caribbean time (manana, manana) but now I have discovered a new time zone, mainly Parisian shop/ market traders time which is whenever they want <laugh>

Is this so that no one has anything to say.

I saw the rumour site has a voting thing for rumours now.

A morning of toil down the far field as I try to keep the deer at bay. The hunting season has just started, but the chasse haven't got the ones that like my vegtables so much. :(

It is a great day to be outside and do some manual jobs. The inside ones are on hold for now. ;)

Afternoon all. Back from MK now and had to laugh at the banter i had with the guy who was manning the MK Dons shop stand. Its nice to see that friendly fan to fan banter is not dead in the real world. I now have a pounding head for some reason, but oh well i have the clothes i need and had a great day.
