    If i'm being honest, i didn't think much of Welbeck but he looks great now.

    I'm not too fussed if he's here to add depth for this season and we still buy another striker.

    We really are replacing Ranger then...


    What's with all the Man U cast offs? Not a Pardew thing just a general NUFC trend for some time now. I honestly think this is partly just to help Santon settle in.

    If we get another striker in, then I'll be pleased. If Macheda is the expected striker then i'll be bloody pissed off

    True. The last time we loaned a player from Manure was Rossi and Bacon face wasn't happy about him not getting alot of game time.

    If it's true then i'll give him a chance.

    Well, that kinda proves my point. It took him another two seasons before he was any good.

    Macheda could well develop over time but we need a good striker NOW!

    Honestly might as well get Cole ahead of Macheda, at least he scores goals now and then.

    Tbf we're not scouts. He could have done it all at Sampdoria except got a goal. Also I point you in the direction of Manchester again: Dzeco - don't think many would have thought he'd get many this season other than those at City

    A few hours ago things were looking rosy with Santon, Benayoun etc on the radar or rumoured. We'll probably end up with Carlton Cole on a 12 year deal, Macheda on loan and a packet of peanuts to play at left back

    He does look poor though. And we cant wait around for a year for him to come good if its only a loan with no option to buy. Might as well develop our own youngsters than throw a lifeline to struggling Man U ones who had a really great 2 week run of form which overrated him.

    I agree, I'm just saying don't write him off entirely. He looked like he had 'something' at Man U. Also Pardew seems a stat man and you rarely get transfers horribly wrong that way

    I honestly think that's part of the reason. It's just ridiculous we havent put an intent to buy clause in in case he does well. It's a lose-lose situation.

    ****'s sake , not what I had in mind.

    ****ing typical , didn't want to pay enough for Maiga or Roux so we settle for a little loan for a **** player like Macheda.

    Hope it's not true.
