    Agreed.
Also if it is just a knock, then better we rest him against ****e opposition like Panama than when we may need him more, in the knockouts against harder opposition.

I thought Henderson was quite good yesterday. Sprayed the ball around accurately enough and mostly forward.

    ****, so hungover.

Pub went mental when Harry got that second. Best mate's a gooner so it's a rare occasion we can go batshit mental and celebrate a goal together.

We looked class in the first half, could - and should - have been 4 or 5 up but too many fluffed chances. Walker an idiot for raising his arms like that, contact was pathetic but it was obvious Tunisia would make the most of it. Though **** knows how we didn't get two pens ourselves for the ****ing MMA takedowns on Harry.

Trippier MOTM for me, proud of the lad. Maguire also really good, big fan of his, easily England's best CB at the moment. Alli started brightly but the injury ****ed him from 30 mins. Sterling utter ****. Lingard ****ed up too many chances but his movement caused Tunisia loads of problems. Young kept slowing down play by cutting inside all the time, Rose or Delph should start the next game. RLC looked quality when he came on, shame he only had 10 mins, start him over Sterling in the next game. Henderson played one nice pass but was then a passenger, would much rather Dier as he does everything Henderson can do and add protection for the back line. Think Harry only touched the ball about 5 times but still managed 2 goals, clinical as ****.

    Fully deserved win.

We were good for the first 20 minutes got sucker punched with a penalty then turned into a usual boring scared England for the next hour.
If Kane hadn't got the late winner the confidence would have been zapped and they probably wouldn't even get out of the group.
We usually draw the first game so yesterday was a positive and a decent didplay against the Panamanians will see us through probably to face Poland.

All the big sides drew or lost so I'm happy with the result .

When you play 3 at the back do you really need a DM or deep player? Seems like overkill to me. Saying that I don't think you have any really good box to box players anyway.

Shows the extend of the midfield issues you have.

Dele is a top player, but we can’t carry anyone injured - even slightly.

It’ll be JLC or Delph, if Dele isn’t fit.

Like who? Henderson surprised me with the number of good balls played forward, which he looked to do whenever there was novement in front of him.

Paul Scholes is not available, neither is Stephen Gerrard, not sure who else you would play there?

That's the problem, we have very few options.

We do have options on set pieces though so can't figure out why Trippier was taking everything.

He's got good delivery on the run but hadn't noticed him taking set pieces at Spurs.

Yeah the player Southgate was playing till he got injured.

The kid that's captained England at various age groups including u21s with Southgate as manager.

    Then he got Injured.
