The English media should have to watch all the matches in a pub in the centre of Glasgow. That'll sort out the fans from the bastards who just want something negative to write about.

    Too negative for me.

    Too old School.

He might have achieved the most since Sven, but ****ing hell the football was boring.

I would say that Eriksson in 2006 got a reasonable run but realistically you are right.respect and backing never happens.

Sir Bobby Robson Gave them all two fingers and England did better in 1990. I think since then in my experience it got a lot worse like turnip taylor so you are right.

Maybe Venables got a decent run in 1996 and huddle til after 1998 world cup when press turned on him to get him the sack.

Usually it's not even fans so much as the rags.

The result of hodfle was who? MccLaren and England fail to qualify?

I think selling Wembley and moving matches to other grounds would help.

    Agreeing with yourself?
The problem is that too many people desperately want England to be better than they are, and they consider it a personal affront when the team fails to live up to their expectations. This has gone on so long now that they start getting the boot in early so as to avoid disappointment.
At a club level we see something similar when many fans consistently predict a doom-laden scenario for us.

All eleven singing the national anthem? <yikes>

I suspect that'll be the Southgate influence

Imo tonight Henderson will be scapegoat and there's 4 forwards ahead of him and 5 defenders behind him abdvhe will get no help at all with 2 or even 3 opponents

Lingard scuffed it, caught it on back of his heel almost.

    Golden opportunity
