I don't think he will play Dier and Henderson together, probably Henderson will get the nod. Back 5 likely to be as you say, but he will start with Kane and Sterling.

Though have a feeling he might play Cahill instead of McGuire.

I would like to see Delph in there, he was my MOM against Costa Rica.

    Pickford
    Walker Stone's McGuire
    Trippier Henderson Delph Ali Rose
    Sterling
    Kane

Tunisia aren't a bad side at all I fully expect a tough game. I won't be crying and slagging us off if we don't win.

One of the years we didn't win the opening game was 1966.

A number of Germans look as though time is catching up with them. I would fancy us to beat them.

Since when has Kyle bastard Walker been a pissing centre half?

Play him at right back where he belongs, he's a ****ing good one.

    4-0 England, Henderson hat trick.

Yes, whilst every World Cup game in Rugby League and Rugby union are entertaining, enthralling closely contested affairs.

If you don't realise how the small town attitude which promotes the rugby clubs and sneers at football holds this city and itsnfootball clubback then more fool you.

Pointing out the stupidity of expecting every game in a World Cup to be enthralling, entertaining stuff full of brilliant play. It doesn't happen in other sports so there is no reason to thinkitshould becase for football.
As they expand the tournamen to include ever more games the proportion of mismatches and poor games will increase.

    5-0 England obviously.

    It's coming home.

Seriously though it will be a tough match and I wouldn't be surprised if we followed Germany, the Argies and Brazil and didn't win.

    There's a few selection dilemmas I think.

The back 3 will surely contain Walker and Stones. The popular choice for the third spot will be our 'arry, but I think Cahill is a decent shout too.

Personally I'd prefer Dier to Henderson. I don't dislike Henderson but I think he can be a bit rushed and we're going to need to be patient on the ball and not be giving it away all the time. Dier probably also protects us from the counter a bit better.

Lingard might be favourite for the other midfield slot alongside Alli, but I've not seen all that much of him. I'd be happy with either Delph or Loftus-Cheek (who I think could be a real surprise package if he gets a chance) in there.

Sterling has talent and is obviously Gareth's first choice to partner Kane. But he needs to start scoring soon to put off the media hounds. I'm not sure he has the mental strength to overcome the pressure they're putting him under. I'd love it if he did though because if he scores one today he could go on and have a great tournament.

The only thing that is holding Hull City back is Ehab Allam not RH, HDM or the rugby clubs.
You dislike Hull FC because of old history which is fair enough but move on.

Hopefully we should win tonight, I think I read somewhere they are the best of the African nations but let's be honest we lack a play maker in the midfield and are decent but not a great side so its 2.1 to us for me.
