£79m - although it could easily have been £11 6s 9d given that neither sum is within £100m of what Spurs would ask...if he was for sale...which he isn't.

We really need to start planting our own transfer rumours in the press in retaliation, starting with a £32m bid for Messi...

  3. Think if we wait for a couple of weeks, that figure could be significantly lower <laugh>

  4. Anyone else watching the Costa Rica game and seeing similarities in the stadium (especially the roof) design and the new WHL? Smaller (44k) and not at the same tech spec.

  6. Just when you think that the quality of 'expert analysis' can't get any worse, ITV roll out the pretentious and arrogant Patrice Evra!! What a feckin' twat! <doh>

Did you see him clapping and patronising Eni Aluko. He seemed genuinely surprised she knew anything about her job.

    Eni Aluko? <whistle>
She's recently signed for Juventus, who got rid of Evra.

The lettering on Germany's shirts is pretty bad. The capital 'A' and 'R' are pretty indistinguishable. If you've had a good ol' Fathers Day lunch, 'WERNER' looks an awful lot like 'WEANER'.

    I'm never growing up.

1-0 Mexico! Germany have been poor and deserve to be behind.

In Kigali at the mo, will fly into Nairobi at 03:00 tomozz then Nairobi - London 09:00-16:15. Fathers day is tomorrow night for me. Hopefully the England match might reduce the traffic on the M25. But then again....I'll probably listen to it on the car radio.

If the next but one world cup is going to be in both Mexico and the USA, how the fek is anyone going to get the ball over the WALL? Even Eriksen would struggle with that.

Yep, I always though that the British sense of humour was the best in the world, but recently you've trumped us.
