He's just continuing his love in with United players past and present... didn't get the bite last night as everyone agreed Ronaldo is a great player lol
On the pitch he is arrogant. Was very happy when Phil Neville folded him in half at Goodison. But he is clearly the best player in the world at this time/last 5-7 years
Pogba was average against a very motivated average side, in P Neville's view. I thought it was a safe performance, he played everything simple.
So what you're saying is don't have VAR unless it's perfect and it's better to have more errors without it rather than fewer with it? I don't get the logic of that argument. VAR can't eliminate contentious decisions completely but it has been proven to cut the number down substantially. What I'm saying here is I'd rather have a team of qualified referees making the decision than an unqualified viewer watching at home, or Phil Neville. If you don't like a VAR decision, just pretend the ref made the decision pre-VAR and got it wrong. Anyway, nice reminder of who Peru are, though I didn't need any reminder. My sides.
Does that comment need a source ? Surely by its nature it can only improve decisions. If decision was wrong and VAR doesnt reverse it no improvement. If a decision is overturned cause it was wrong in the first place the objective has been met. I have actually been impressed with VAR thus far in the comp as it has not really slowed the matchs down and so far i think it has been used sensibly. We still have points to discuss/disagree over but some obvious mistakes have been cleared up. Goaline tech been 100% correct so far also
I thought it was a penalty, just because he touched the ball, he still took the lad out and denied him moving forward. It's not like he cleared the ball to the half way line and just nicked him, if he hadn't caught him, he would of carried through on goal. I'm not sure why, people persist with the opinion that just because you get the ball, what you do to the opponent afterwards is ok.
