I know it doesn't really have any effect on us anymore but Leeds have appointed Marcelo Bielsa on a two year deal. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44460259 This has to be seen as something of a coup. Bielsa has been one of the most interesting and innovative coaches in football over the last few years. Whether his approach will translate to the Championship remains to be seen but this is a very, very interesting appointment.
Going to keep an eye on them now. Should be an exciting season for them. I can't see how they've managed to persuade him to go there but someone's done a bloody good job
He’s one of the main men credited with 3-5-2, wing backs, with all out attack. He’s not just a great coach he’s a bit of a revolutionary by all accounts.
I remember you putting him forward for us when we got Coleman instead. I'm not familiar with him but I'll keep an interested eye out.
He is, loco Bielsa as he's known. Guardiola has called him the best manager in the world. He's always done things his own way, starting from when he was at Newell's.
Nearly binned the car into the central reservation this morning when I heard it! I always thought he’d get a top PL job. He’s a class manager.
Madness isn’t it, you’re right he’s right up there, it’s an incredible appointment. Still sack him after 6 games.
Hope they do! Once Rafa ditches us I’d love to have him as manager (it’ll be Kinnear but a lad can dream)
Leeds have had TEN Managers in the four years since Massimo Cellino took over. This should not come as a shock as he tried to fire his first Manager BEFORE he even owned the Club. The expression, 'trigger happy' seem like an understatement in his case! I can only assume that some at least, of the previous incumbents, took the job on the basis of it being five months wages then a fairish blast of severance pay. Not a bad way to build up the pension fund. Perhaps the latest volunteer thinks along these lines too.
