How does that work mate?

 

I don't fully understand it but isn't dependant on the moon or something? So impossible to say with certainty what day it will land on until it's near?

 

I know it’s something to do with the lunar cycle, but don’t understand how it works and why it isn’t a fixed number of days?

 

Perhaps due to the year not being an exact amount of days? That's purely guesswork though and like you I don't fully understand.

 

Eid has to take place on a Love Island re-coupling day. Simple as that.

The new moon is the thin crescent starting on the right side as you look at.

So right side crescent is new moon, half a moon is a week in , full moon is half way then half a moon is 3 weeks in and crescent on left is end of the month

 

I doubt they were fasting...they won't have been obliged to. Same for Tunisia I reckon
