It sounds like the most sarcastic translation of a speech ever. I've never wanted to hear the national anthems so much in my life.
Scrappy game so far, which changed after Russia scored - before that, they really weren't in the game. It's more even now.
I thought nobody else was watching. It looks a bit League 2 standard to me - the pace and quality isn't really there. That said, the Saudis have made some nice touches. Russia look more like a team though.
Second half carries on from the first - good touch followed by bad touch. If anyone wants a snapshot of this just watch the second goal (from the end of the first half) - looked like a fortunate ricochet that set up the break, a good check back inside and lay off and then a dreadful pass to the man over which was saved from looking so awful by a great finish.
Artem Dzyuba scored just 89 seconds after coming off the bench, the quickest sub goal at a World Cup tournament since Marcin Zewlakow for Poland vs USA in 2002 (64 seconds).
Since that first goal, Russia have got better (Saudi have allowed them to) whilst Saudi have just stopped playing.
That 4th was class. I like the Saudi Central mids (especially the number 7 I think who kept dropping deep to collect the ball and seemed to always make time to pick out a man). Russia have grown and have looked dominant from about 70th min onwards but more professional throughout. ...and a fifth just before the end. Nice free kick. Not a 5-0 performance, probably only 10 shots on goal and 5 on target between both sides.
I'm still at work and have just been informed by my boss it's like watching a league 1 match. Have any really doddgy decisions gone Russia's way due to bribes and or threats to the officials?
Cheeky 999s..I've seen much better women's matches than that one. The Saudis were awful...Their passing was diabolical Our Rrrs would have murdered them Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
The two lowest ranked teams in this tournament and it looked like it. Low quality but at least there were some goals. Tomorrow nights game looks very interesting.
I heard an English coach, who's working in Saudi at the moment, describe the national team as Championship/League1 standard, so you might be right. I wish I'd known that before I predicted them to get a draw.
saudi need a different coloured shirt the editing on this is awful and he must have been in a rush as theres only 3 goals shown
