Quality overtake on the outside of Nico at Blanchimont, see it again before it goes missing as the unseeable content of FOM, it seems it wont be plastered over youtube unless it's Kamui or Lewis doing it.

Even Coulthard and Brundle miss it... :emoticon-0149-no:

Thanks for pointing that out Silver Arrow. What a cracking move! In the past two grand prix's Vettel has answered the criticism that he cant overtake. In Hungary he pulled off a great move on Alonso, who as Brundle said "is no slouch" and now another cracking move on Rosberg - that is without DRS and against a very fast (in a straight line) mercedes!!

This means that, thank god for this, nobody can say now that Seb cannot overtake.

Button did at least 3 overtakes in that race which were better than that probably more than 3 I'd have to count them, seeing as he dropped back to 19th after his first pitstop, also there was Alonso on massa which was better and loads more just in this particular race.

We're not saying that it was THE best overtake of the season or of the race, just that it proves without a shadow of a doubt that Seb CAN overtake!

Mephi, it was only good because Alonso was alert in enough to what was going on behind, and wise enough to get out of the way, otherwise it would've ended up in a smash, it's no surprise that Webber crashes into more people than everyone else (and generally tries to blame them afterwards), he has no regard for any of the other drivers at all, as shown at Korea after he span in the wet and decided that, as his race was over, he'd try and take one of his rivals with him, sadly for Rosberg he missed them and hit him instead. he should've take a leaf out of (alonso or button) who lifted going down the hill to grab the tow and get the DRS, as it was the fastest, and mst sensible, way.

I thought that was some brilliant riving from vettel, just hanging the car out around the outside. However, let's not forget that rosberg's tyres were far older than Vettel's, meaning vettel had far more grip than the merc.

Are you sure you're not talking about Lewis? (hammydecrashy) I can't remember webber ever blaming anybody after an incident, he's always been a straight talker as far as I recall

Felipe did well to realise that button was coming through. Great driving by the pair of them.

True, but to get beside and then overtake on the outside while his front left tyre was blistering showed he wasn't going to get held up by nobody that day. Nico did the right thing though and stuck to the inside to make Sebs life as hard as possible. It was very tight even with that extra grip against the Merc engine with no DRS.

Even Lewis was a bit timid against Petrov at Blanchimont

mephi, i suggest you go listen to his coments after he hits someone then, for example when he drove into the back of Kovy and took off he blamed kovi for the whole incident

That's because it was kovalainens fault. He was just meandering aimlessly across the track, Webber's car caught the back of it, and whooosh, the term "red bull air race" was rewritten.

I havent really jumped on the band wagon of "Vettle cant overtake" but I dont think this pass really makes much difference! Vetlle was on much fresher rubber and Nico's pace had dropped by almost 2 seconds a lap at this point and pretty much all the front runners had walsed past him prior to their stops!

To sum Vettel up, i don't care what anyone else thinks.

He's lightning fast on an open track, probably one of the quickest ever
He can't overtake anyone in an equal car when in traffic
He's not as good as Fernando Alonso or Lewis Hamilton as a racer
He doesn't deserve this 2nd world title. Having the luxury of the best car is making him look a better racer than he actually is.
He needs to mature. Still making silly errors.

Miggins, will you shut the **** up about Webber. Honestly, none of the things you ever say about him are actually true and now its just pointless and really annoying in saying it as everyone else knows better! We get it! You hate Webber! Move on with life! Jeez.
P.S. It's very hypocritical when you complain and whinge that Webber is complaining and whinging, even though he doesn't.
