how the hell have spain sacked their manager on the eve of a world cup for taking a plum job in spain after said world cup. what kind of morons do that.
It's unprofessional from real Madrid. Fair play to the Spanish fa for having the balls to do this. Shame our fa couldn't do same with Southgate lol
I think England should launch a joint bid with New Zealand, South Africa, China and Uruguay for 2030. The distance from the South Western point of Mexico to most North Eastern point of Canada is probably equivalent to the gap from London to Delhi. That's an absurdly large area to cover a world cup.
Even Fat Sam had the decency to say "I'll have to clear it with my employers" when filmed negotiating bribes to bypass player ownership rules
Yeah... I forgot I had Derek Asamoah breastfeeding on my signature for months because I never see it.
Heard someone say, about Spain and the manager sacking, 'Real Madrid, they are top quality but the way the club have gone about their business is inconsiderate and egocentric'. All I could think is, well no **** Sherlock. Both the two Spanish giants are hugely egocentric and have very little respect for anyone other than themselves. You only have to look at the way they have pursued transfers from all sort of clubs. Its the reason it took Spain so long to win something, because both clubs and their players could never get over their club rivalries and Egos.
To be honest, I see Barcelona as a professional football club, sure they'll look to improve their own lot just as we or any other club would. Madrid seem to be more about image and bragging and narcassistic in everything they do.. they've been financed unfairly for so long through subsidies they are huge, but they're not the same as Barcelona, us, or most clubs everything is about the image and not the football. Sure winning helps the image but that's the main focus... The brand.
Forget who can win it ... who does everyone want to win the World Cup (still being realistic though !!) ??
