With mega money Spurs and Arsenal both currently struggling in the Premiership, not to mention other well established teams, are Saints really being totally unrealistic in their quite openly stated ambition to join the elite clubs. With money bags Man City and Man Utd stamping their authority on the Premier League this weekend, does it mean that the teams like, Swansea, WBA, Blackburn and the Blackpools and possibly Saints and Brighton of this World would now only be one season wonders, as they can simply not afford nor attract the talent necessary to stay in the Premier League? Any thoughts fellow South Coast football fans?
I think we'll worry about getting to the Premiership first. Are we strong enough to stay in the Premiership at the moment..probably not. What is done about it is up to Cortese and Adkins. We are in a sound financial position so are better than many teams that flirt with the Premiership.
My thoughts are that you are a count, Minging. Is your neck hurting from looking up at us in the league table yet?
I thought it was a well balanced and uncontroversial , on topic article...............not many of those leave this keyboard!
The only reason I answered it was because, whatever your intention, it was a valid question. Our target is the Premiership..staying there will be a nice problem to deal with.
Fortunately, Man Utd and Man City are only 2 teams. The Prem. needs 20. Stoke have looked quite comfortable in recent seasons. Ultimately, however ready we are for promotion, we'll be a lot better shape for it than you lot. A great comfort for all Saints fans !
jog on back to your own board......I know its pretty lonely on there but you should be used to that when you go to your half empty shed on Saturday afternoons.... ......please tell me you do go there!!!!
Singing Blue you are a little tinker, causing mischief again. Revenue streams at Fratton Park must be a little worrying for the board at present with very low attendances. Are we going to have floodlight failures and the PFC website being taken down again...
