Seems quiet on here regarding circumstances behind JC departing City. Anyone know what has gone on, or can add to NPs comments on radio? (Thought some of the usual suspects would have been slating NP for the abrupt way that the interview ended).
Nope...and that's why it's quiet. Nothing has been said, officially. And nothing, so far, has really leaked out.
Is that for def? If so, explains why he had to walk: can't 'do' Jimmy and leave Joe C in place (or it's 'unfair' - but bad legally) [Edit: ****ing Jimmy]
Given that Nigel has come out with a statement - and clearly a heartfelt one at that - surely the club must make some commment on this very soon. I'd imagine something has been prepared over the last 24 hours. I'd be suprised if we don't hear something by Wednesday.
was big joe bullards pimp maybe ? did he organise off limits activities ? but if JC is guilty then he has to go.
"The 62-year-old, who had been part of Nigel Pearson's backroom staff since February, stood down after Saturday's 1-0 win over Reading as a "direct consequence of incidents in pre-season." …… the Mail understands Corrigan was involved in a serious altercation with Jimmy Bullard at the club's pre-season training camp in Slovenia….Corrigan was not forced out but instead chose to leave. Pearson was clearly disappointed to see his trusted coach departing: “It's a shame for football that a man of Joe's calibre and a coach of his calibre feels he can no longer work here." It doesn't sound like the club had any plans to sack or even punish him to me.
According to amber nectar .....5b: If Bullard really has insisted upon Joe Corrigan’s dismissal as Hull City’s goalkeeping coach as part of the terms of his final departure from the KC, it represents an act so despicable as to be not matched by any past Tigers villain. Dave Bamber buying a house in Blackpool with club money has nothing on this.
