Looking st the bracket, it appears that Egypt will go 7-0-0, beating Spain in the round of 16, France in quarters, Brazil in the semis and finally they will behead the Germans in the final by a score of 7-1.
Looking through all the club kits for the world cup... Why do England almost always have the most boring kit? We need something distinctive. Brazil would be crap if they didn't have their signature yellow. The only reason Holland do well is because Orange is a signature colour. Argentina? Without those stripes would they ever have won anything? Germany are white, but their kits are always distinctive. You see a Germany kit and you know it's Germany. Take the Lions off the England kit and its just a white Nike shirt. Nothing distinctive. Nothing good. And why do we play in white? Such a boring colour... And the trim in blue? Why? There is no blue on the English flag.
Red would be a much better colour. It is also the original colour of England. Pre 1066 the most common English symbol was a red flag with a white dragon on it. It's only because of the Norman's we have the boring George cross. Bloody French are responsible for most of Europe having really boring flags.
so you are the would be in agreement on this red stuff but the Welsh would be thinking you are talking about robbing thier colour.
I don't care what the Welsh think. Red is a much better colour for England. Wales does not have a monopoly on red. Belgium, Egypt, Denmark, just to name a few. Even red and white would be fine. Just not boring boring white. I bet we would win 3 or 4 world cups in any given decade if we wore red.
Was talking about this other day. Considering we have a big Red Cross on our flag, you’d think could do something with that rather than just. Abit of trim
Britain First and all those and flag appropriation mate ... hang on ... that's the entire England fanbase
They had the cross over the shoulder one year, that was a little better than the boring white kit we usually have. Germany frequently works their flag onto their kit to give it some distinction. Croatia always gets their checks on. England could certainly do something to make it a little less dull. Working a cross on would help. Our kits almost always look so generic. You could take the Lions off and put any country's crest on and it would work as their away kit no questions asked. At least with red, or any other colour, you fill a stadium with people it shows the support and looks impressive. No one is intimidated by a wall of white. It might as well be neutral. There's a reason not many big clubs play in white. Sure Real Madrid do, but not many others. Psychologically It's about the least passionate colour in the world. It's probably why fans of white clubs are all dull as bricks too. Leeds, Spurs, Madrid... Not exactly clubs known for passionate fans.
