Supporting their meagre footballer wages with a quick Guvvy job as pall bearers, then it’s down to the serious World Cup business...
Also, if you find yourself at a political demonstration, avoid placing yourself between police and the protestors. Good advice this. Cos it randomly happens to me all the ****ing time. I'll add some more useful advice for our intrepid supporters. If you find yourself at the top of a tall building, try descending using the elevator or stairs rather than free climbing down said building's external walls. When boarding a train consider allowing it to become stationary before jumping aboard. In the airport it is recommended that one does not start screaming 'Allah Akbar' whilst frantically jamming the exposed ends of two lengths of electrical cable together. It's remembering the little things that, let's face it, we're all liable to forget, that keeps you safe in foreign countries in my experience.
Erm Actually, that did happen to me and Askew We ended up in a protest march in Berlin. Never really knew what it was about but we joined in. They mostly looked like the type of people I’d mostly agree with so...you know Misplaced the wives for a bit as a result too I’m not having German Police stopping my right to protest, whether I know what I’m protesting about or not
We did that in Barcelona the other month. Great it was. Our thoughts were a load of drunken English men can only make it worse or better. Freedom for Catalonia!!!
So Ernie Turns out that advice was aimed at me, Chazz and Askew ...and yet we’re all people that would ignore it anyway It’s a crazy world
Apparently, Lloyds of London predict who'll win each World Cup, based purely on the player insurance value and this year, they reckon France will win... please log in to view this image
